Although the book is officially NOT complete by my standards, the first draft was indeed powered out in 28 days.  Tides of Venezia is the working title and will be further edited and hopefully published next year.  Considering the first novel took four years plus, and the second over two years – this was a brutal challenge that I took on last minute (starting a day after the program kicked off!).

This was truly a neat experience that I fell upon, and was pleasantly surprised to find how many other folks I know and know of were participating.  It was a worldwide epidemic of vast proportions, and of the very best kind.  I look forward to seeing my fellow writers put the polish on.

Historically I write out of sequence, and research things to make sure no reader is taken out of the story because there is something wrong.  However under this kind of pressure, I was not able to leisurely write the scenes I felt like writing.  I just put my head down and plowed through it – completely in order.  Perhaps there is a lesson in here for me, but we shall see how thick headed I am!
